  Neighborhoods

There are many distinct and historic neighborhoods in St Petersburg and the surrounding area. We have everything from the vibe of urban downtown, to the historic charm of yesteryear mixed with the majestic look of grand waterfront properties.

Bayway Isles is a prestigious, 24 hour guarded, deed restricted island community of over 200 families. Consisting of two main islands, Bayway extends southward from the Pinellas Bayway into the aqua colored warm waters of Boca Ciega Bay.

Broadwater is a community of approximately 580 mostly custom-built homes, most on deep waterfront property. The predominant architectural style is primarily one-story Florida Style homes with stucco construction and tile roofs.

Coquina Key is a friendly residential island community on historic Tampa Bay. The community is made up of affordable single-family homes and many beautiful waterfront properties.

Isla del Sol is an island community with approximately 3200 households comprised of 350 acres of beautifully manicured tropical gardens surrounded by the waters of Boca Ciega Bay. It is located on the southernmost tip of St. Petersburg. The island boasts an 18-hole championship golf course, The Isla del Sol Yacht and Country Club, as well as a beautiful white sand beach with mature coconut palms.

Patrician Point  consists of 235 upscale homes, 87% of which are on waterfront property. Its northeast St. Petersburg location provides homeowners with convenient access to many attractive amenities.

Snell Isle   contains one of the most sought-after streets in St Petersburg. The area includes many original classic homes along with other large homes, well-kept lawns and tree lined streets. There is a range of smaller homes situated on inland lots all the way up to mansions on deep, open water.

Venetian Isles is an upscale waterfront community with deep water canals bordering Tampa Bay, the area is great for power or sail boats of any size.

Yacht Club Estates consists entirely of single family dwellings. It is a water oriented community with about 99 percent of the homes being waterfront homes on Boca Ciega Bay.

The Beaches

If you are interested in buying beachfront property, there are several options available including buying gulf front property, buying condos on the beach and buying single family waterfront homes. Most homes have at least a waterview. At any given time, there will also be waterfront property for sale with deep, sailboat water that opens to the Intercoastal and then it's only a short trip to the Gulf of Mexico.

St Pete Beach  - Here one can choose from some of the most readily available gulf front property in the area. There is also waterfront property for sale on the Intercoastal side with most of it being deep water, sailboat-friendly with no bridges to pass under.

Treasure Island is 3.5 miles long, with a slow, gentle lifestyle. Driving through the city is like going back in time to the 50s, where you will see several preserved mid-century Modern structures. Nearly all of the homes in Treasure Island are waterfront homes, with several being gulf front homes.

Madeira Beach - Buyers looking for condominiums will find a large variety in all price ranges. Many are gulf front property. Single family homes are not as prevalent, yet are readily available. Most condos and some homes have at least a waterview.

Historic Neighborhoods -

St Petersburg has several historic neighborhoods, each with their own flavor and architectural Photo Courtesy of City of St Petersburgstyles.

My neighborhood, The Old Northeast, was the first established neighborhood. Tree-lined streets, Coffee Pot Bayou, North Shore Park, its sense of community, proximity to downtown and major roads and its varied architecture are what draw homebuyers to this neighborhood.

The charm of Historic Kenwood  can be seen in the plentiful and beautiful mature trees, the brick streets and the hexagon block sidewalk. Historic Kenwood has one of the highest concentrations of 1920s Craftsman Style Bungalows in Florida.

Historic Roser Park was recognized by the City of St. Petersburg in 1987, as its first historic district.

The Historic Uptown area of St. Petersburg comprises several distinctive attractive neighborhoods that are primarily historic in nature and are close to downtown.

The Euclid/St. Paul’s Neighborhood is an area approximately 240 acres and is approximately 1-1/2 to 2 miles from Downtown St. Petersburg, the Central Avenue Business District, and Baywalk.

Crescent Heights is conveniently located to I-275 and downtown St.Petersburg with its museums, waterfront parks, entertainment and businesses. Many original brick paved streets remain with towering Live Oak trees providing canopied covered shady streets.

Crescent Lake lies at the center of the  Crescent Lake  neighborhood, surrounded by a manicured 56-acre public park. East of the lake is the "Great Banyan Tree", a living "jungle gym" for generations of children.
